Taeyeon is one of the SM artists who gathered to sing the song "Dear My Family" in 2012. The song is used in the opening act and OST of SMTown's "I AM" for its world tour in the same year.

Last October 4th and 5th, Girls’ Generation performed at “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV” in Tokyo, the second stop in S.M. Entertainment’s world tour.

This is announced through a video that shows the band’s debut scenes in Japan, uploaded on SM Entertainment’s YouTube today, August 25, which has become the date they debuted in Japan, 2010.

The members of Girls' Generation are challenged to do the 'Ice Bucket Challenge' as a way for ALS charity and awareness campaign. Sooyoung did the challenge first and then followed by Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sunny.
