'Lion Heart' and 'You Think' Live Performances on Music Shows

Girls’ Generation has begun their promotions for their fifth album with an appearance on KBS’s “Music Bank”. 

On August 21st, the girls, dressed in outfits from the respective music videos, performed both “You Think” and “Lion Heart”. 

Taeyeon wins at ’10th Seoul Drama Awards’ and collaborates with Yim Jaebeum

On September 10th, Taeyeon was awarded the “Outstanding Korean Drama OST” award at the “10th Seoul Drama Awards”.

Girls'Generation won at 29th Japan Gold Disc Awards

Girls’ Generation received two awards at the 29th Japan Gold Disc Awards, marking the fourth straight year Girls’ Generation has been honored by the awards show. 

Last year, Girls’ Generation’s “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” and “LOVE&PEACE” albums also were chosen for “Best 3 Albums of Asia” at the 28th Japan Gold Disc Awards. In 2012 and 2013, Girls’ Generation’s other releases were honored in various categories as well.

TTS at ’24th Seoul Music Awards’

On January 22nd, Girls’ Generation – TTS attended the “24th Seoul Music Awards”. 

The three members walked the red carpet for the event in the black outfits seen above and later changed into red dresses for the main event.

Girls’ Generation Wins at ’29th Golden Disk Awards’

On January 14th, Girls’ Generation received the Popularity Award at the “29th Golden Disk Awards” in Beijing, China. 

Taeyeon and Tiffany accepted the award on behalf of Girls’ Generation and thanked their fans for voting and the staff from S.M. Entertainment.

Sooyoung Hosts and Wins at ‘2014 MBC Drama Awards’

On December 30th, Sooyoung attended the “2014 MBC Drama Awards”, serving as both an MC alongside comedian, Shin Dongyup, and as a nominee in several categories for her portrayal of Lee Bomi in “Springtime of My Life”.

Sunny Wins at ‘MBC Entertainment Awards’

On December 29th, Sunny won the Newcomer Award in the radio category at the “MBC Entertainment Awards”.

On November 27, YoonA and SHINee’s Minho were appointed as the ambassadors for “UNIHERO” by The Korean Committee of UNICEF’s Secretary General Oh Jongnam at Changseong-gwan.

TaeTiSeo Wins at ‘2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards’

Tiffany represented Girls’ Generation and attended the “2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards” in Hong Kong on December 3rd. 

Before the awards ceremony, Tiffany showed her excitement by posting on her Instagram account. Taeyeon also commented on Tiffany’s picture, expressing her support for her group member.

Tiffany is catching an early flight to Hong Kong to attend the “2014 Mnet Asia Music Award” (MAMA 2014).

It is also announced that there will be a special performance from Girls’ Generation’s member through a special collaboration at the annual awards event.

On October 28th, Girls’ Generation – TTS attended Mnet’s “2014 Style Icon Awards” at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. 

At last year’s “2013 Style Icon Awards“, Sunny and Sooyoung were attendees at the event with Sooyoung winning the “Best K-Style” award.
