On August 14th, Girls’ Generation took to the stage at the “DMZ Peace Concert”, a two-day South Korean music festival organized in hope of harmony with the country’s northern neighbor.

The octet performed “PARTY” and “Gee” on the first day of the production, which also included performances from popular idol groups BEAST, EXID, and AOA. Additionally, Yoona co-hosted the event with MC Kim Sung Joo, while Tiffany is said to be in America.

During the performance of “PARTY”, poorly situated stage fireworks unfortunately sent the idols into a coughing fit. Despite the complication, Girls’ Generation cheerfully and energetically completed the performance, to uproarious applause.
