SM Entertainment has been debuting many of their idols as solo acts since last year. Henry, Zhoumi, Kyuhyun, Taemin, and Jonghyun have all had solo debuts, and Amber will be joining them soon next month. If Girls' Generation fans were feeling a little left out, worry no more because Taeyeon has now been revealed to be working on her own solo effort.
Details of release date and promotion schedule are still up in the air, but a solo album is in the works. Although no further information about the album title, it is speculated that her album is set for the first quarter of this year.
Aside from the Girls' Generation, Taeyeon is also known as a "OST Queen" because of the numbers of drama soundtracks she sang. So let's look forward to this new development not only for Taeyeon but as well as for SNSD.
