On November 7th, AllKPop posted that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon went on an unfollowing spree on her Instagram, leaving fans curious as she narrowed down her list to just 12 individuals.
Her unfollowing spree especially aroused the interest of onlookers as one of the people she unfollowed was her boyfriend EXO's Baekhyun.Accordingly, Taeyeon only follows 12 people on Instagram including her Girls' Generation members, Super Junior's Heechul, SM Performance Director and BeatBurger's Shim Jae Won, and choreographer Rino Nakasone Razalan. This is after she unfollowed EXO members including Baekhyun, Sehun, and Tao as well as JYJ's Jaejoong, 2PM's Wooyoung, 2AM's Jo Kwon, Simon D,B2ST's Junhyung, and other international celebrities, brands, and sites.
But take note that this unfollowing spree could perhaps simply just be due to Taeyeon trying to streamline her Instagram to make it even more intimate between SONEs and herself.
However, EXO's Baekhyun has also unfollowed everyone on his Instagram.
Although unfollowing people on SNS shouldn't be a huge deal, due to the rumors that have been whispered among fans about the two possibly breaking up, his latest activity on Instagram has once again fired up speculations.
As of the 18th, Baekhyun is following no one on his Instagram like fellow member Sehun. Because he hasn't updated his Instagram since July 17 when he posted and later deleted his apology regarding the relationship news with Taeyeon, his recent activity on the account of unfollowing Taeyeon, his fellow members, Super Junior'sHeechul, and more caught the attention of fans.
As with Taeyeon's unfollowing spree, some have been voicing their concern about whether the couple are okay, or whether the backlash from fans became too much to handle. Others pointed out that Luhan's lawsuit news broke not too long after Sehun unfollowed everyone, so that maybe Baekhyun's recent activity could also be taken as a sign that something else might happen.
