YoonA will take the female lead role on 'Nodame Cantabile'

Girls' Generation member and actress YoonA has been confirmed to take the female lead in the Korean Version of "노다메칸타빌레/Nodame Cantabile".

According to the source, the other casts included in the upcoming drama are Joo Won who will play as YoonA's boyfriend and conductor; Baek Yoon Sik will play as her teacher, and Dohee of Tiny-G will take the role of Sakura.

'Nodame Cantabile' is originally a Japanese manga themed around classical music. The manga was created by Ninomiya Tomoko, and the drama version of the manga aired in 2006 on Fuji TV.

The Korean version of the drama will air on KBS 2TV in October.
