On November 27, YoonA and SHINee’s Minho were appointed as the ambassadors for “UNIHERO” by The Korean Committee of UNICEF’s Secretary General Oh Jongnam at Changseong-gwan.
The “UNIHERO” campaign aims to invite people to become heroes for the less fortunate children all around the globe. UNIHEROes can be involved in an interactive manner to support the children dealing with issues such as education and malaria.
The 'UNIHERO' campaign is so everyone can become heroes that help children all around the world. UNICEF Korea will have an interactive campaign so anyone can participate easily on and offline. Minho and YoonA were also chosen as the ambassadors because of their bright, kind images.
YoonA said, "I'm happy that I have the role of spreading the news of the campaign the gives hope to children all over the world. I'm going to do my best so more people can participate in the UNIHERO campaign." Minho said, "I'm going to work hard myself to become a kind hero that can bring hope to children all over the world. I hope many people can become 'UNIHEROES' through interest and love for the children."
