On September 4th, Sooyoung attended a press conference for “Springday/Springtime of My Life“, her upcoming drama. Her co-stars, Kam Woosung, Jang Shinyoung, and Lee Joonhyuk were also present at the event, and the four cast members posed for photos by the press.
During the press conference, Sooyoung spoke about her time spent thus far filming the drama and the support of her members in Girls’ Generation. She described acting as both fun and hard work, saying that she was still learning every day. She also mentioned that her members were very supportive of her, with Yoona giving her encouragement and advice and Seohyun reading the drama’s script with her and asking many questions, while Tiffany, after watching the teaser for the drama, said to change her hairstyle.
Sooyoung discusses her thoughts on having to compete with Krystal and Shin Se Kyung during the press release conference for upcoming MBC drama, 'My Spring Days,' which was held in MBC Sangam Shinsaok. All three female actresses will go head-to-head in competing for the highest viewer rating in the same time slot.
Sooyoung stated, "There will be viewers who will enjoy the atmosphere and the storyline of our drama. I am confident in gaining the hearts of the viewers more than the other two dramas."
She also added, "Krystal, Shin Se Kyung, and I are all close friends. We all message each other in support of one another."

“Springtime of My Life” will be about a terminally ill patient, played by Sooyoung, who received a heart transplant and meets the donor’s husband, played by Kam Woosung, for a unique love story melodrama. The drama will begin airing on September 10th.
