Girls’ Generation’s Sunny is the new DJ for MBC FM4U’s radio program "FM Date" (everyday 8PM~10PM KST).
MBC Radio said "from May 12th Sunny will be the new DJ for 'FM Date.' It will become the warm comforting program for those on the way home during rush hours."
Sunny of Girls' Generation was the permanent guest in Ian, Kim Shin Young’s Shim Shim Ta Pa, and she also was the DJ of a DMB radio program for 9 months with Sungmin of Super Junior.
Sunny said "Because of my sisters' influences, I have grown up listening to a lot radio. Until now, I listen to the radio when I travel. Because I didn't have a lot opportunity to communicate with the public, it is exciting to get this opportunity. I will try my best to be the DJ that can communicate with a lot of listeners." The staff also said "The listeners will be able to see the new, friendly and free Sunny, different from the one on stage and performance."
The comedian An Young Me, who is personally close with Sunny, will be the permanent guest of the program as well. Also, the actor Park Geun Hyung, who Sunny met in Taiwan for the program "Grandpa Over Flowers" promised to make an appearance as well.
"FM Date with Sunny" will first be broadcasted May 12th 8 PM KST through MBC FM4U and the Internet Radio "Mini"
