The Asian Black Bear or most commonly called as Moon Bear or Bile Bear are hunted for their bile for the medicinal purposes that is very popular in Korea and Japan. For may centuries, this kind of practice results in the declining population of the Moon Bears in the wild. Also, some raise the bears in farm and cages which can definitely affect their ability to adopt in the natural habitat and can shorten their lifespan.
