SNSD Overload: we are SOOYOUNG now!

Today is another wonderful day!!! Why?

Because it is the birthday of the Girls' Generation's ShikShin, Choi SooYoung

And if in case you don't get it, the title I made is from the all-time favorite band of siblings, The Corrs, from their song "So Young".

So here are some facts about SooYoung as a birthday gift that I can only come up to.

Young SooYoung. The photo was taken from her pre-debut days.
She was also rumored to have a plastic surgery.

Soo never had a boyfriend. Not until recently, she confirmed
that she is dating Jung Kyung Ho

Jessica gave her English name "Summer"

Soo is the third youngest member but she is the tallest of them all
(170 cm).

Taeyeon busted out one of her sleeping habits: SLEEP TALKING.

Aside from Sunny, Soo is also one certified gamer in SNSD.

She was once asked for a dare in a variety show to put on a swimming
tube and do the Gee crab dance in a coffee shop. She was very shy at
first but she managed to finish the task amazingly. The dare is taken as
a prank in relation for her name (sooyoung) which is also the
Korean word for “swimming”.

It was revealed by SuJu that Sungmin of Super Junior is closest
with her and Sunny that on SuJu’s 3rd album, Sungmin
mentioned Sooyoungie on his Thanks To part.

Soo has worked many times with Kangin of Super Junior
(from her predebut days in MNET VJ Chat to the movie
SoonJung/SunjeongMahwa and many other radio shows in between).

The photo is from the movie Love Story, an adoptation from SoonJung manhwa written by Kangfull, whereas the lead girl is named SooYoung. Apparently, Sooyoung (herself) played the role of her best friend named Jeong Da-jung.
Comic-writer Kangfull made a comic for Sooyoung. Apparently, Sooyoung sent him a fan e-mail before. Kangfull was so impressed with the way Sooyoung talks (very mature for her age) that he replied to her fanmail. Years later, they finally meet when Sooyoung starred on the movie adaptation of Kangfull’s Manhwa. Kangfull also apperared in the movie, where he sells the umbrellas.
It is a cute movie, though.

She has a huge crush on Brad Pitt. This is from the Interview of Tiffany with Brad Pitt
where she asks Brad Pitt to say hello to SooYoung and the guy, mimicked how Tiffany
waved her hands to say hi. While on the studio, SooYoung is happily waving
back at Brad Pitt.

Nicknamed ShikShin by the other SNSD girls because of her big appetite.
ShikShin literally means FOOD GODDESS.
She eats an average of 6-7 times in a one day.

A TRAX member taught her how to play the drums while
Sungmin taught her how to play the guitar.
She can play the piano as seen on her performance during the Chunji Concert.

Nicknamed Cheerful Princess because of her charming personality.
She is considered one the friendliest members in the group.
She also won the Most Comic Talent award during the 2009 Girl’s Award.
In relation to that award show, DBSK was quoted saying that
“She is really fun to be around and has that special something
that makes her stand out”.

In one of the shows (GGTS), Sooyoung can't
attend the Jeong Shin's graduation ceremony
so her manager oppa gave her a bouquet of
flowers and congratulated her.

Soo has a penchant on keeping things even though
they’re worn out when she really likes it.

She is the Most Experienced member in the group as she already
debuted even before SNSD as a member of the duo Route 0 in Japan.
But she admitted that before, she can only speak "hai".
And she gives high importance about being a member of SNSD.
