Q: Did you have any fun while the filming of 'The Prime Minister and
I'? It will be broadcasted so did you have any wonderful dreams?'
A: There won't be many weeks remain until the first broadcast date, and
I'm really anticipating on it and my heart is kind of fluttering as it
is nearer to the date. It can be a bit burden as well, however, the mood
on set was pleasing and fun. I wasn't be able to have a dream, but I want to have a dream of success, a day or two before the broadcast."
Q: You played a role of the reporter Nam Dajung, who is full of
mistakes and holes. When is the most important 'transformation point?'
A: Unlike to other roles that I have played this far, there are some
off the wall and bright sides for this one. There are lot of
similarities to me. So I have tried my best to show a natural me. Since I
change from a reporter into a Mrs, so there is one major transformation
in the drama. In order to make the change, I tried to add focus on
hairstyles, and outfits with dark tones of colour. I created difference
in a Mrs. with two pieces and outfits with coat and straighten hair.
Q: How did it feel when receiving scripts for 'The Prime Minister and I' for the first time since then?
A: I had loads of fun while reading it. I always desire to try a
romantic comedy, and the script had a mood that I always have it in my
mind, so I really enjoyed reading it. The character of Nam Dajung is
similar to one that I'm researching. I have also been looking for a
character that is bright, easy-going to act and a little mixture of
tomboy-ish, unsimilar to what I have always shown, so this is hit the
nail on the head.
Q: What are charms features of Lee Bum Soo, who will be the one will show off a comical, an unexpected romance?
A: He seems to be very serious, but he really has lots of humour. That
seems very appealing. He usually started conversations, played around
lots of time, even it just a word, I can feel that he was very caring
for me and treating comfortably. I'm very thankful. Also, while reading
the script, I felt that he suits with the role of prime minister. I felt
like when the first time I saw him reading the script, but then when he
appeared as a prime minister at the set, I really thought he looked
great. He as himself was really the direct Kwon Yul. I'm not sure if it
was due to me seeing him as Nam Dajung, but he seems to appear cool and I
was be able to act naturally. While acting, there haven't any character
that really direct to me. I think it as an honour of being able to have
a chance to act with him.
Q: You had delivered lots of laugh
in terms of a comical photo of you holding his pants, as similar to you
let yourself go. Are there any common bursts of laughter during the set?
There were many photos of you during you were talking to Lee Bumsoo on
the set.
A: There was a scene where I had to act like laughing,
but it wasn't really an acting. I actually laughed for real, but I
didn't think anyone understood that. I also rehearsed lines over many
times with senior Lee Bumsso behind the set and he informed me know if
there was any parts I have to overlook. After attempting, he taught me
useful tips to improve my acting by pushing me harder like, 'Don't you
think this part could have been done a bit better?' I am very thankful
him for guiding parts that I never have thought about. More than
anything, I am thankful him for showing me what is a 'great acting' that
will help me shine through acting with him.
Q: In the released
teaser, you and Lee Bumsso matched together better than as expected and
be called as 'expected chemistry' couple. Do you like/agree that/with
that?
A: I hope to hear lots of those. I thought of the same
thing so I also thought people would think the same way as I did. Senior
Lee Bumsoo is eccentric from other actors. Due to a large gap between
ages, but people will understand why these things after watching the
drama in my perspective.
Q: What kind of appearance were you
planning to show in 'The Prime Minister and I?' What type of nicknames
are you expecting now?
A: If I act in characters that are
formally nice and innocent though that character is harsh situations
like Candy, thus, Nam Dajung is similar, but she has something that is
easy-going with tomboyish personality and doesn't have any sensible
sense. If I have to act a quite and adorable character, I will have to
give a noisy and stubborn feelings. I have been acting without 'looking
pretty' thoughts. I felt it's a change in acting, so I thought it as a
new attemption, but I think I have felt lot of things after acting in
this character. I trust the viewers will decide when is the broken of
the boundary. Also, lots of nicknames will be appeared when there comes
to my appearance in the drama. I'm actually looking forwards to those
new nicknames. I have been a lot more mature when it comes to acting, so
I really want to hear comments about the drama is funny.
Q: Is there something you have to work for just only 'The Prime Minister and I?'
A: I read the script lots of time. I read this script for the most
times comparing to others, I'm working effortlessly and it's a drama
that has some burden on me. I prayed everyday before the filming and I
have never ever prayed so hard before this. I really hope this drama
receives love comments and turns to a memorable one.
Q: Say few words to viewers who are supporting 'The Prime Minister and I'
A: Please do look forward to 'The Prime Minister and I,' and spread
lots of comments about it when its date to air. It will be a very warm
and pleasant drama for this winter. I really hope viewers will laugh and
warm up their hearts. Please give with lots of love.
