Her first debut acting drama was 'Passionate Love.' She played as Han Yoo-rim, who is the male protagonist Kang Moo-yeol's first love, played by Sung Hoon. Moo-yeol has a crush on her and became his first love. The two of them share a short-span love, before Han Yoo-rim meets an ending with full of tragic.
Seohyun had chosen after an audition when she was in Grade 5 and made a debut with Girls' Generation in 2007. She graduated Dongguk in 2010 after her successful learning. Her activites started to be filled out and made her keeping absence from classes.
She attended 'Passionate Love' press conference and shared her interested in acting from an early age. She also revealed her feelings about the drama,
