SeoHyun at First Script Reading

As said previously, SeoHyun is chosen to take a role in a new drama. Although she will only appear into 4-5 episodes, it is considered as a big break for SeoHyun.

That also means that she is ready to participate to more activities aside from modeling and outside the SoShi's daily activities. We just hope that she can still take good care of her health knowing that aside from her busy schedules, she also needs to study.
Seohyun at '열애/Passionate Love' first script reading

SBS TV’s upcoming weekend drama “ #PassionateLove ” recently held its first script-reading session.

The series will take over the timeslot currently being held by “Wonderful Mama” on the 28th of September, revolving around the main characters’ romance which is disallowed by their parents, and is said to be one of SBS TV’s most ambitious ventures yet. Although it attracted little interest during the casting process, photographs from the script-reading session have garnered interest amongst drama lovers.

Starring cast members Sung Hoon, Choi Yoon Young, Jeon Kwang Ryul, Jeon Mi Seon and Woo Hee Jun were all in attendance. In the first few episodes, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will star as Lee Hye In alongside Lee Won Geun, who plays the younger version of the main male character,

The cast threw themselves into their roles for the four-hour long session, with the youthful portrayal of romance and the mature cast’s professionalism drawing praise from the staff at the event.

Lee Won Geun, who has previously appeared in dramas “Pure Love” and “Phantom”, will play the role of Moo Yeol, while he is a high school student. He falls in love with Hye In (Seo Hyun), but has an abrasive relationship with his father Moon Do (Jeon Kwang Ryul). Sung Hoon plays the adult Moo Yeol, moving those present at the script-reading session with his exquisite grasp of his character.

In her first drama role, Seo Hyun gave a noteworthy performance at the session, receiving praise from the more experienced cast members. In addition, her pure and sweet smile suited her role and didn’t fail to move hearts with her plight.

Playing the lead female role of Yoo Jung, Choi Yoon Young gave a much more lively and ivacious performance than Seo Hyun. Choi Yoon Young will take over the lead female position as adult Kang Moo Yeol’s love interest.

Jeon Kwang Ryul plays the duplicit character Kang Moon Do, giving a magnetizing performance with his vivd portrayal of the character’s aggression. Because of his career, Kang Moon Do marries a woman he doesn’t love and has a bad relationship with not only his son, but his father-in-law too.

After being betrayed by her husband, Yang Eun Suk (Jeon Mi Seon), will turn over a new leaf, separating from her husband Kang Moon Do. Her portrayal is promised to differ completely from her last drama role in “Pure Love”. This will be the second time Jeon Mi Seon has acted alongside Jeon Kwang Ryul, with the two both acting in the popular 2010 drama “Baker King, Kim Tak Gu”. With such a good history, this upcoming project promises to also be a hit.
