SM Entertainment revealed on May 13th, “We have indeed received an offer from the production company of the film ‘No Breathing’ to cast Yuri as the female lead. She is really interested in the role being offered to her and will sign the contract once her schedule gets coordinated.”
‘No Breathing’ is written by screen writer Yoo Young Ah, who is the brains behind several hit films in recent times, including ‘Korea’, ‘The Tower’, ‘My Pavarotti’, and ‘Miracle in Cell No.7’. The film will revolve around the sport of competitive swimming, and incorporate elements of dreams, friendship, and family. It will seek to bring to viewers the thrills and excitement associated with swimming.
The title ‘No Breathing’ is a technique in swimming which sees a swimmer attempting to swim by holding their breath while underwater. The film seeks to convey the message to passionate and determined youngsters to slow down their footsteps for a better future.
Meanwhile, ‘No Breathing’ has already secured Lee Jong Suk and Seo In Guk as the male leads. The film is scheduled to begin filming in mid-May, and will air in the latter half of 2013.
